Puppet Smiles

What you see is just an illusion created by your own prejudiced mind.
It needs passion to break through your looking glass to break barriers.
The soul has to be pure of its inhibitions to understand clearly.
Only then can you hear the wind chimes of the heart calling out.
It needs less prescence and no words and more silence.
I was cut from a tree and carved to a figure.
Painted, varnished and adorned with jewellery.
I gleamed everytime light caressed me.
A pride to the sculptor's eye.
I was a realm of perfection.
Then I was stringed.
I am, but a puppet.

re: busted -
i read that some three times before i decided to stop rereading it. strikes a chord deep inside, it does. i am damn sure that you were writing from your heart. nothing else can bring this feeling to mere words.

Poichaan - :) Tankoo.
Do u remember you had quoted Zahir in one of your posts and I asked you from where you found those..?
And I completely forgot about the book .. till I saw it in my library.. I havent read Alhemist yet. I keep putting it off, though have read The devil and Miss Prym (which was slightly scary..got disillusined dreams while reading it)

Well I'm glad I read the book. And am sure will reread it.. Its light yet so profound.. :)

Thanks.
