Come blow your horn

It was fun working on the sets of "Come blow your horn" a play by Neil Simon at Alliance Francaise de Madras. The Hindu had given a write up. And SS Music covered the show. P and myself were quite disappointed with our carpenter. The set had not exactly match up our own expectations. But what I loved, on our set was the 70's door hangings we made. Added a dash of glamour.
We could go to only one show - 3'o clock, Sunday. There was not much crowd but it was not that bad either. Everybody played their part well, considering that they started practising only 20 days back. And a special mention to "Dad" character played by Hari. Exceptional! Everytime he said, "Bum" it produced a snuffle from the audience. And Rohan managed quite well as a debut director. I loved his idea of introducing the character with their punch lines. The play is now being considered to be staged in Bangalore in a few days.
