Rang De Basanthi

Saw first day first show. What a movie! There are some movies which really evokes patriotism. This is one such. I'm glad its release was delayed, to be released on the Republic Day. There was no such dominance by any character. Before intermission, the only thought I was pondering about was 'how such a documentary could be made with low budget'. But the story progressed to a completely different level. I really liked the editing part shifting from present - past and again present. Music is haunting. Especially the bg song when they all hug in All India Radio. Just haunting.
Still thinking about it. I'll save the words for the later.

*sigh* cant wait to see it again!

the monk : waiting for your reaction

aditi : I'm glad you loved it. Yes, true. But he manages to get away with it all the same. And waiting for more good news on ur job front :)

invisible : the songs also. A blend of the right mixture

vibha : :)

poison : Yes. I read your reviews. What I liked about the story was, he showed what could happen if a peace march took place and vice versa. I dont know why you thought the story was stupid. But it striked a chord on what youth could do. But hey, each one to his own :)

Interesting. Quite a few people told me its the worst movie. I am beginning to think they didn't get it. If only I get the time AND tickets, I can watch it.

kart : Hi. I'm surprised. This is the second time I'm hearing about the movie in a negative line after poison. I dont know why your friends felt so. Just watch it. I think every Indian should watch it and decide. And when you do get to see the movie, 'De-prejudice' yourself, if I may use such a word :)
There are too many elements packed. The film is full, you know.

Do let me know what you think about it. Will be waiting for your take.

I guess its something like 'Swades'. You either love it or detest it.

I loved 'Swades'.

I liked Sudhish's review. Here's the Link He used the right context in describing the movie.
